Sponsors, Partners, Advertisers are all important
The event is reliant on the key partnership with Sawston Village College and the help and backing of many people and organisations. There are too many to list them all but here are a few of them who make a significant contribution.
The sponsors role is vital as they donate financially and in many other ways too.
The event sponsor is The Cambridge Building Society. Other sponsors are Adams Harrison solicitors; Carter Jonas Bradshaws; Budgens Sawston; Gibbs Denley Group Insurance Services; McDonalds; Morgan Sindall; Ridgeons Group; Scotsdales; Vindis Sawston; and Sawston Parish Council.
Their contributions provide the funding to cover essential costs including the hiring of a traffic management company. The Rotary Club is very appreciative of their support and everyone associated with the event owes them a BIG THANKYOU.
Companies and Organisations that wish to become sponsors of the 2016 and future events should should contact the marketing Officer Tony Collett 01223 893447 or send an e-mail to email@example.com
A number of organisations have kindly become official partners. They include Sawston Sports Centre, Stagecoach Buses and Star Radio whose involvement will bring the event to the attention of an audience across a wide area.
Bottles of still water for entrants - Bottles of Nestle Pure Life Water kindly donated by Tesco, will be given to all entrants - just another example of the willingness of the local business community to back the event. Sawston Sports Centre will be giving a voucher for use at their facilities. These kind gestures will add to the event and are very much appreciated - thank you.
Groups and businesses who help on the day are - Lilley of Sawston, landscape gardeners; Sawston Youth Group Band; Sawston Fire Service; Air Cadet Force; Army Cadet Force; Sawston Youth Drama Group; The Red Cross; The Welch Group and RAYNET.
The Rotary Club thanks Sawston Village College for providing the venue and support throughout the planning process and to everyone who helps make the event a success.
